O telescópio espacial James Webb, o mais potente já colocado em órbita, revelou nesta segunda-feira (11) a “imagem infravermelha mais profunda e nítida do universo primitivo”, sendo os primeiros registros das galáxias formadas após o Big Bang.
A imagem divulgada pela Nasa hoje aponta para cerca de 13 bilhões de anos atrás.
A foto, repleta de pontos de luz de vários tamanhos, apresenta pontos tênues de luz que nunca tinha sido observados. É um dia “histórico”, celebrou o presidente dos Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, durante a apresentação ocorrida na Casa Blanca.
